So, because
it’s kind of fun and it’s helping me with a novel I’m writing, I’ve decided to
start working on my old Dungeons & Dragons 4.0 stuff that I started a few
years ago. I’ve got a bunch of new races and classes and I’ll be designing
cities and dungeons and all that great stuff that makes being a dungeon master
so much fun in the first place.
I’ve started with the races, as
they need the most amount of tweaking. A lot of them were just fun ideas, but I
didn’t do anything with them. They were stats and ideas for pictures and very
little else. Having worked with them now, I see what they are and I’ve learned
a lot about my races and the world I’ve created. It really is a wonder and I’ve
been surprised by the things I’ve learned that I never knew before. I’ve got 20
races of my own that I’m working on, and the first set is done; the Dragons!
So, since I’ve got 20 races and I
need motivation to keep myself doing anything and to fight the depressions, I’ve
decided to post a race a day on my blog until I’m done. We’ll see what happens
after that. Maybe I’ll be so back into Joresch I could start posting chapters
or something, or at least keep writing. I’m not holding my breath. I’ve also
got a comic to work on. Some of my greatest joys are making fun of Jess and
Eric, and I’d hate to let that slip… but drawing is hard!
Oh well.
Here are the races, one at a time.
Let me know what you think. Your feedback is actually pretty important to me.
Later days!
